Blog 2: The best concert ever

Hello again!

In this second blog I'm going to talk about the best concert I ever went to. I usually don't go too much to this kind of events because there aren't many artists I'm fan enough to pay a ticket for, but in this case it was a concert of a woman that I love since I was a little girl. On 2018 I went to the Katy Perry Witness Tour concert, performed at the National Stadium. My family bought me a ticket for chirstmas because they know that I'm a huge fan of her since ever.

I really love her story of personal growth with the music, because she came from of a really religious family that just allowed her to listen and perform gospel music and with the pass of the time eventually she rebelled and followed her own voice, recording the songs that made her emerge. She shown to the world a new concept of pop music, with her particular aesthetics and not fear at all.

The concert was insane!! it was really amazing because all the performance was on another level. The show had a lot of dancers, special effects and even circus acts, you could feel the energy on the air, the people singing all the songs and Katy enjoing it a lot. I really had a great time in there, listen to her on live it was way more spectacular than I though it would be, literally she appeared from a giant hand on her last song and sang Fireworks with real fireworks on stage.

Blog 8: English language challanges

Hi everyone! Today in this last blog we have to talk about our experience learning english in this program, and for me it was really fun. I had a very good time learning in this class, because we put into practice all the things that I knew from school and we talked about all this amazings subjects, we discussed about feminism, racism among other important things that are going on today in the world. I was never had the chance to practice my english for real, like having a conversation or writting about something that I like so this type of learning helped me to make my english much more fluent.  And about the blogs I think were a very creative way to learn how to comunicate us in english with things that we like to each one of us. This blogs were my favorite activity from the classes, because it became a way to know a little about my classmates in this particular context that we couldn't even see each others faces.  About my english skills I still need to improve my conversat...

blog 6: Postgraduate Studies

Hello again! Today it's time to talk about a postgraduate course that I would consider taking in the future.  As I want to make research in the area of psychology in a future, I think I would take a PhD on social psychology, because it would give me a lot of analysis tools to make the proyects and and relate the existing knowledge of psychology to the functioning of society, and expose it to the scientific community and to the people. I would like to study about social psichology an political processes, to understand the bond between our behavior and the society systems, and how affect one to the other, because I think one of the biggest factors of the bad mental health we have on this days is the level of stress and demand they put on us to survive Here in the University of Chile there´s a postgraduate course that focus on this specific area of research, among others, so I think maybe I could take it here, but going to another country and learn from another perspective s...

blog 7: Music

Hi there!  Okay I think this is one of my favorites blogs from all, because I really love music and without it this lockdown would be a nightmare (even more haha). But also this is one of my hardest choices, because I listen many genres and artists, and I've never been able to answer who is my favorite one. So I´m just gonna talk about one from many that I love and never get tired of.  I'm gonna talk about Residente. He's one of my favorites because reminds me my childhood with Calle 13 and currently I like him because of the songs he writes. His lyrics and his rhythm transmit a vibe that I really like, and uses a lot of elements of his culture and roots showing how important are to him. I really like how he tries to make music with content, talking about the war, the love, about how is the music industry and how hard is start from the bottom, specially in latin america. Following this line I think my favorite album from Residente is the one named just like him, because in ...
